I have upgraded Vivaldi to the latest stable version, 5.4.2753.40. Today while installing softwares, Ubuntu Software Center got stuck, but I could see Vivaldi update alert window. And when I opened the update windows, it is showing me that I have to upgrade to latest version and here it is I choose that and then open the update windows. It is showing Vivaldi version as 5.4.2759.0, so I think I can run it in the current build. Only problem I am facing is that my Vivaldi icon in the dock, status bar is not changing from the update alert alert window. Please help me to install it in the current build.

Ok I was able to remove the current binary and overwrite with the old one, this is where it gets tricky. I am running Ubuntu MATE 16.04 and have used the normal system tools and Synaptic Package Manager as well as Unity Tweak Tool.
